Emma Carbon: Sarah Rebecca Reed Scholarship

It was such an honor to be selected for the Sarah Rebecca Reed Scholarship in 2008 during my first semester as a graduate student at Pratt. With the scholarship covering a portion of my tuition, I was able to focus on my classes and what it will mean to be a librarian in the 21st century. I currently work and blog for the New York Public Library. I am a library clerk at the Muhlenberg Branch and have a blog on the NYPL website at http://nypl.org/blogs/emma-carbone. I am halfway through the MLS program at Pratt.
