Susannah Benedetti: Frank B. Sessa Recipient

Susannah Benedetti received her Master of Library and Information Studies degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000. She is currently Coordinator of Cataloging Services for the William Madison Randall Library at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She plans to utilize her scholarship to travel to the Online Audiovisual Catalogers (OLAC) biennial meeting in Mesa, Arizona, which will focus on new technologies and trends in media cataloging. Her research interests include metadata standards, improving cataloging interfaces for patron access, and film classification issues. She has published on the cataloging of art and on a two-year collaboration with research faculty to create iLumina, a digital library of learning objects: http://www.ilumina-dlib.org.
