Theodore Patrick Milas

T. Patrick Milas teaches in the College of Information at Florida State University where he conducts doctoral research in knowledge management (KM), hermeneutics and cultural informatics. Milas aims to rethink information systems design to enhance information access through better understanding of how the assumptions embedded in world religions' social networks and cultural artifacts affect decision-making in information processing and management. During previous research funded by the Abernethy Research Fellowship, Milas conducted interviews of religious minorities in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, the Netherlands, Poland. With Milas's latest research grant, the Harold Lancour Scholarship for Foreign Travel, he is extending his current research with religious metatexts into the latest information organization and documentation trends in theological metadata around Europe, particularly Belgium.
